I want to ask, what is the cause of the transmit error and discard

in cluster vcs

Hi,

Likely TX errors are data packets from hosts that are generating frames larger than the max MTU . Since the VDX is a cut-through switch, we cannot drop these on ingress. The oversize packets will be forwarded on and dropped on egress, where they are marked as a TX error.
