Afternoon all,
I've had a failure of PSU's and ALL the fans in one of our switches. I've managed to get hold of some used PSU's and fans however they are a reverse air flow direction to what was fitted (originals are port exhaust).
My question is, can this be changed in the config? Or am I stuck with a dead switch? I've had a look around the web and there appears to be some conflicting information.
Many thanks,
Marc

Hi Marc,
Yes the airflow direction can be changed. The switch need to bounced for the change to be committed.
The command you need is chassis fan airflow-direction

Thanks Russ! I'm still new to these VDX switches but that worked a treat and it is now back up and running. Thanks again.
