Extreme Cloud Appliance Max Tx Power

Extreme Cloud Appliance Max Tx Power

We are preparing an ExtremeCloud Appliance installation with AP3915 in a factory with several buildings.
The idea is to use the power and channel configurations based on the survey performed, ie, to keep these parameters fixed.

In the IdentFi controller models, it was possible to set minimum and maximum values:

But in the ECA only the maximum values were found in the personal configuration of the APS.

For example, using channel 13 (allowed in Brazil, with no one in the vicinity) and no RF Management Policy configured in the ap, we noticed during some tests that the channel power sometimes not reaches the maximum value marked in the configuration.

Is there a way to fix channel, max tx power and min tx power in ECA ?

Tks.

Casimiro.

In the top example, you are using ATPC, in the bottom, you would need to use Smart-RF. and create an RF Management Policy. It will then allow you to configure your high/low tx power ranges.

Example: Home > Configure > Sites > Configuring RF Management > Configuring Smart RF Policy
