What does "Monitoring Unassociated Clients" mean?

There is a human head icon with sound waves that says “Monitoring Unassociated Clients” when I hover over it. This is in the Extreme Cloud Portal in managing devices. It is only on 4 of my 8 AP’s at that location.

Unassociated clients are clients that are not associated with the device when the presence server feature is activated. So the AP knows they are in the area and is collecting presence analytics for those clients too, but those clients are not actively connected to the AP currently.
