We are excited to announce a new program coming to the Extreme Networks Community called Ask The Expert (ATE)!

What is it?

  • We will host hour long zoom calls between community members and subject matter experts from all of our product lines to answer questions and discuss our products and features. Come pick the brain of your favorite Extreme Networks engineers, and get advice right from our experts!

When?

  • We will host one ATE event per month, switching between topics/product lines each month.
  • The first ATE event will be in April 2021!

How do I join?

  • Subscribe to the Product Announcements> Extreme Community (The Hub) board to get an email notification for each new ATE event. Or, just keep an eye on the community for new ATE events to be announced.
  • Submit questions to community@extremenetworks.com on this month’s topic during the first two weeks of the month.
  • Join our Zoom call and meet our brilliant engineers!

What kinds of topics will be covered?

  • Each month will feature a different product line (XIQ, EXOS, DataCenter, CampusFabric, etc.)
  • Topics and questions need to be general enough to help a majority of our participants, no individual troubleshooting will take place on these calls
  • Topics can include, but are not limited to, things like:
    • How to troubleshoot common issues (client connectivity, hardware connectivity, interference, guest security concerns, managing large user bases, BYOD networks, etc),
    • How to use new features
    • Different ways to set up guest access
    • Different security measures you can take for different clients
    • How to streamline day-to-day processes
    • How to set up the best monitoring for your network
    • General recommended settings/features for your network type
    • And much more!

What topic will be first?

  • You decide! Vote here before March 26th to choose which topics come first.
