Summary:

The Extreme Platform ONE Security (UZTNA) ZTA DA4.0 upgrade to production is scheduled to begin on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The rollout will proceed in a rolling fashion across all UZTNA Regional Data Centers (RDCs) over approximately one week.

Each RDC will have a maintenance window of up to 5 hours. Within that window, a service disruption of approximately 10–15 minutes will occur at the beginning of the window. Upgrade windows are scheduled during off-peak hours for each RDC.

Impact:

The following impacts will occur during the 10–15 minute service disruption at the start of each RDC's maintenance window:

  • End users will not be able to use ZTA agents. End User Agents will automatically log out and display a "Device Action Failed" modal. Users will be able to log back in as soon as the upgrade is complete.
  • Admin users will not be able to perform actions on the admin portal. The ZTNA Admin Console pages will fail to load but will recover automatically once services are available. Tenant Admin portal, ZTA Admin portal, and End User Portal sessions will remain logged in.
  • New clients will not be authenticated through ZTA during the disruption window. Existing clients will auto-reconnect as soon as services are restored.
  • Service Connectors and Relay Agents will reconnect automatically.
  • Agent-based and agentless service access will restore automatically once services are up.
  • NAC (Network Access) services are not impacted by this upgrade.
