I'm trying to add a new alarm trap to NetSight.
I want all my switches to send a trap to netsight when ELRP detects a loop.
I've created a custom alarm from it but there doesnt seem to be any trap for ELRP.
I know the MIBs are on the server just no idea how to add them.

Have you tried the $message keyword?

Hello,
I have successfuly create ELRP trap alarm. Comparing to Ridgeline, Netsight gives out less details of ELRP. How to add more details to ELRP alarm mail. I tryed adding stuff but did not receive satisfactory output. I wanted to receive affected vlan and port. Used Arguments: $trapArgs
Subtype: $alarmSubcomponent but those two give out nothing.

Hi Johan and Ian,
could you tell me wich services I have to restart in order to view the new trap on alarm manager?
I have restarted snmpd and nssnmptrapd but I didn't see the new trap.
I have seen it only after restarting the server.
Thank you in advance,
Regards
