I have an Avaya-Switch which needs a 'press return to start' after login. The EMC scripting
engine seems to wait for the prompt after successfull login. But it needs to send a 'return'
to get the prompt. So I always get a script timeout.
I tried:
CLI ""or
CLI "\n"Is there any way to disable prompt detection, send CRLF and reenable prompt detection?

Hi Patrick,
are you sure that the switch only wants a 'return'?
I know Avaya switches witch want a 'Ctrl-Y' command at the shell.
What type of Avaya Switch is it?
Regards Daniel

yes, I'm sure. 48xx with 5.10 via ssh.
You can disable the CTRL-Y (it think it's banner disable).
But after that you get a status message after login with you last login time and
you have to press 'enter'.
