And here how I do it manually:
#Upgrade Fabric Manager
copy upgrade files in /opt/fabricmgr
#Unzip them if relevant
execute from there: python upgrade.py

Thank you for the high-level on how to perform this manually.


However TO ALL -- as a matter of a support disclaimer -- manual update of the Fabric Manager appliances via its root shell is unsupported and any issues that may arise as a result are unsupported. Please use Extreme Management Center / ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine to perform firmware updates via the web interface.

You can upgrade FM from XMC / Site Engine the same way as you upgrade firmware at switches.
