Hi, I'm new to Extreme Networks and wanted to a quick lab with eve-ng and Extreme VOSS image. I've set up the Site Engine, DHCP/DNS/etc required to get basic connectivity work. Created a new site in Site Engine, and configured SSH admin password and added a binding rule to put devices from my lab network to the newly created site. Devices boot and show up in discovered tab with "ZTP+ Configuration Error" message. Event log says "No bindings applied to device.".
I think I'm missing some basic configuration but was unable to find any "getting started guide" or something. User guide is 2000 pages so for a quick lab a bit too much to read 🙂
Any ideas what I need to configure to get started or any tips for relevant instructions/training videos/other. I'll of course ask our local Extreme Networks guys next week but have some free time for labbing now and I'm interested to see how this works.
Are there any limitations for basic testing that I can't do with VOSS? I'm thinking about trying just basic L2/L3 VSNs and maybe multi-area if it's supported.
