MIB Tools with OpenWebStart

MIB Tools with OpenWebStart

Has someone successfully started the legacy MIB Browser/Flex-View Editor with OpenWebStart?

I'm running Linux (Kubuntu 24.04) as Desktop OS and have installed current Version of OpenWebStart.

I'm not able to start the MIB_Tools.

- When I choose connect mode to xiq-se server, I'm getting a authentications issue.

- When I choose standalone mode the start breaks because he can't find "/.skinlf/themepack.zip" in my homedirectory and there is also no "MibToolsOptions.properties"  in "/home/user/NetSight/Console/Options/"

Was unaware of this OpenWebStart (https://openwebstart.com/) until now. I assume you have it set up in some psuedo Java 8 compatibility format. Have never tried this tool. Have you had success in the past?

The MIB Tools / FV editor otherwise does open up in Oracle JRE 8-latest. I used it just yesterday.
