HI,
The configuration of NAC is backed up as part of the XMC DB, equally you can take a direct backup as follows:
Control → Configurations (and right click)
The requirement is much like the configurations for when switches are backed up on XMC, with the ability to see if a configuration has changed, and if so when, and what the changes where by comparing the config backups by date.
The direct backup of NAC produces what looks like a DB backup, probably that direct from the XMC.
Is there a way to perhaps schedule a backup of NAC through XMC, then perhaps an application can pull off the backups directly from the XMC backup directory? One other advantage is that if there is a problem introduced into NAC configuration you can just restore that instead of the whole XMC, whether that is really of any value I’m not sure?
Equally I was looking in the Control notifications or Alarms to see if there was an alert that could be generated on configuration change, but couldn’t see one that stands out?
Many thanks in advance

Just as an update, best solution I have been able to find is to point towards the Event logs and filter for ‘NAC’.
Any messages produced can also be used to generate an alarm based on the content of the event.
