Hello, everybody,
I want to start Purview, but Netsight says:
How can I fix it?
May be there is an article in GTAC?
Please, help!
Many thanks in advance,
Ilya
P.S. There is no Analytics in "Related categories"

Additionally, we had serveral installations of former versions of XMC on windows, an we liked it too. But with the V8 ongoing the performance is bad (you can see it in the chart, windows is supported only for small) and the flexibility for troubleshooting is between awful and not existent....
So we moved ALL installations to V8 and virtual appliance based on linux.
Have no fear if you are not an expert in linux, this works out of of the box extremely smooth !

Why don´t you try it parallel ?
Just export Netsight database and import in the Linux appliance ? You don´t need to install it. Copy the VM-Appliance (ovf-file) ore HyperV-appliance and start it. Configure the basics on the startmenue and import DB - that's it. I takes not more than 15min ...
Why should be every next release a pain ?
- With 8.1 and every future release we will have a bunch of new exciting functions...
- Update process on linux is very easy
- you save a windows license and a lot of ressources
- we run 80k users and 2000+ switches with one XMC
Any other concerns ?

Well... every next Netsight release is a pain...) I 100% sure I will get troubles restoring Nesight config from Windows to Linux. There are V2110, 100+ APs, 100+ switches, NAC...
Are there any other ways without REINSTALLATION of Netsight? Could I just increase CPU-DISK-Memory options for virtual machine?
Many thanks to you!

Hi llya,
There is one way to allocation memory to MYSQL on Netsight.
Netsight Console - How to allocate more memory to MYSQL and Netsight Server
https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/Netsight-Console-How-to-allocate-more-memo...
But, agree with Mike and Volker to check your hardware requirements.
Best regards,
