Hi,

I got a new purview appliance. I am trying to install the software from the USB flash that shipped with it.

But I got this error " No root file system is defined" " Please correct this from the partitioning menu"

Is there any advice to solve this issue and resuming the installation?

It did not have Purview image already installed?

And are you applying this to Extreme Networks Appliance, or some other?

Yes that what happened. It started installing the software and that error came up. if I removed the flash disk the system will boot off the BOIS!

So you let it do the automatic boot and was unable to install to appliance? (same as option 1 in the picture) and this FAILED?
