Hello,
in my opinion in older XMC versions (prior 8.1.3.65) there was the ability to run a script without selecting a device. But in version 8.1.3.65 I can't find this ability.
Is there a way to run the script without selecting a device? This function will be useful as well for an manual start as for an scripting task.
Best regards
Stephan

Hi,
I don't remember such capability, and to my knowledge, this is not yet possible. This is also a request we have internally, so hopefully there'll be some enhancements in this area in the future.

Hi SH,
i believe this function is currently not possible because device have to be known related to Right / Varaibles etc.
I think you need a new feature this can be described in this way:
Test-Run of a Task/Script without selection of Device (for a "first" run check of the script)
This would be a good enhancement! I would use that functionality too!
