I have created a few custom Flexviews and find these really valuable. For example one custom Flexview queries my APC UPS and reports power consumption, battery life, and estimated run time. I'm sure others in the community have created their own custom Flexviews. My suggestion would be to allow users to upload their custom flexviews and share these with the community. This will help novices and veterans alike by giving them another resource to quickly expand the functionality of Netsight. If this idea takes off I would also recommend that within Netsight there is an easy import tool of Flexviews. (There might already be but I haven't found it. Currently I copy these from the directory itself.) Let me know what you think.

Pala,
Thanks for the great information. Any chance that you can add the FlexViews that were mentioned at the beginning of the post?
Also, is there anything special that needs to be done with the AP3000 FlexViews? We ran them against our controller in console (6.3.0.168), but received no results. We made the assumption that they should work for 3610/3705/3805, etc.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill
I added all flexviews from this thread I tested and they works.
Some were not working for me and I stored on my disk for later investigation why they do not work. you can still download them and test them by your own (http://extr.eu/NetSightFlexviews.htm)

Hi Bill.
In the past there was AP3000 = standalone AP from Enterasys/Cabletron.
Flexviews in AP3000 directory are only for those standalone APs. those FlexViews are not for AP36xx or AP37xx or AP38xx or AP39xx.
All information available in the AP3000 directory are "out-of-the-box" available in ExtremeManagement (NetSight) already. Just choose one of those built-in.
let us know what information you would like to have in the Flexview
