Hi Guys
We're in the process of deploying Purview to an existing solution. Now with the option to do flow monitoring from the AP/Controller, we'd like to be able to add a 4th (esa2) interface to the controller as dedicated interfaces for flow monitoring.
I've attempted to add a NIC in VMware but it seems it's not recognized by the V2110 software.
So the questions:
1. Will it be possible to add a dedicated interface for new Purview deployments on the current version of the V2110? 09.21.04.0007.
2. Will upgrading to the medium/large elastic appliance provide option for adding additional NIC's?
3. Will the likes of GRE tunnels be available from the controller to Purview as sensor interface?
4. Any deployment recommendations? We use one interface (esa0) dedicated for AP registration with a second (esa1) for topology deployment.
Any views on this?
Regards,
Francois Scheün

This would have to be a feature request...

It's not possible to add another interface to the V2110 controller.
In this situation I'd use the ESA0 and tagged VLANs for APs and topologies and ESA1 for the Extreme Analytics mirror.
