Hi Zdenek,
Sorry for my missunderstanding but in VSP rel 8.0.0.0 you can configure (CLI) with less of 8 characteres without problem, for example:
snmp-server user USERSNMP group SNMPADMIN sha PASSWORD1 aes PASSWORD2

Hi.
The RFC 3414 (SNMP) does define minimum length of 8 characters. Check RFC3414 appendix 11.2
No you can not have less than 8 characters. What product does not support at least 8 characters?
