A factory reset 305c is flashing amber (1 sec on, 1 sec off) for about 5 minutes, then white (1 sec on, 1 sec off) for about 2 minutes. I know the power and networking settings are correct because I’ve setup other AP’s on this port. Suggestions?

The amber LED indicates the AP is online and passing traffic but not connected to an XIQ instance. The white LED means the AP is online, passing traffic, and connected to XIQ.
I see you said you reset the device, is it currently added to any XIQ inventory? If it is, do you see it connecting and then disconnecting in the GUI or is it stable and showing connected in XIQ? If it’s not added to an inventory yet, it may be searching for somewhere to connect to; in that case I’d recommend adding the AP to an inventory so it knows where to connect.

Since it’s still showing HOSTNAME we know it hasn’t connected yet. I’d recommend trying the steps in this guide to help the AP connect to the right XIQ instance: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000057794&q=capwap%20troubleshooting

Yes, I’ve added it to EIQ, but it just shows up as HOSTNAME with no MAC address. Still blinks 5 mins amber, 2 white, rinse and replete.
