Environment

  1. ExtremeCloud IQ
  2. External Radius Server (Install on Windows Server 2012 with AD Server on premise)
  3. AP305c
  4. SSIDs:
  • Management (WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 PSK (Personal))
  • Staff (WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 802.1X (Enterprise) RADIUS servers for authentication)
  • Guest (Private PSK (Guest Self Register))

Question
Does ExtremeCloud IQ have these features? If do, can anyone share the guidance on how to doing it?

  1. AD users recognize by MAC Address’s Devices.
    • For example, the staff register two devices laptop and personal phone mac address. Other than the devices that registered could not login the SSID.
  2. Limitation devices on AD users.
    • For example, one user can have not more than two devices.
  3. Bandwidth limitation on different users on the same SSID.
    • For example, in our environment Staff SSID, some AD user can get full bandwidth and some of them will capped the bandwidth.
  4. Connection to internal network different between users.
    • Some AD users can get access to internal network and some of them just can get access to the internet.
  5. Guest SSID’s password will auto generate change every week.

5.I dont think that you can do that directly over XIQ.(You can do that over Radius Auth and create a user and a pw and over a script change it every week)
