How are Network types classified?

There are three types of Network Policies you can create, and you can create a hybrid network policy using multiple types at once. The options are: Wireless, Switching, and Routing.
If you enable the Wireless Network Policy type, you will be able to configure SSIDs to broadcast a wireless network for your clients. If you enable the Switching Network Policy type, you will be able to configure switch templates to apply to your switches when they are given this Network Policy. If you enable the Routing Network Policy type, you will be able to create device templates and routing policies for any routers you add to this Network Policy. You can enable any combination of these, but must always have at least one type enabled per Network Policy. Is that what you were asking?
