We recently bought for our company a few AP410C access points, which have been installed in some areas, where in other section of the office we have the older AP model AP230. We have deployed our Private PPSK SSID called, let's say “SSID_PPSK”, in all of our APs
The SSID “SSID_PPSK” is working fine -once you are connected!- on both models of AP, the older AP230 and the newer AP410C
However, when trying to authenticate to SSID_PPSK on an AP410C, we are presented with the error message “password incorrect”, even though we are of course using the right password. Funny enough, when trying to authenticate on the areas where we have AP230, it works fine! Is perhaps WiFi6 not supported for PPSK? is that what this article really says? https://community.extremenetworks.com/t5/extremecloud-iq/ppsk-and-6ghz/m-p/96584
I'm not sure what could be wrong. On the Extreme IQ console, the error message we are getting for the devices which can't authenticate is: “PPSK rejected by Guest Access”. Have tried the workaround listed here but it did not make any difference: https://extreme-networks.my.site.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000059404
Any help or advice you can give us will be much appreciated
