Hi,

I cannot find this information in the technical sheet or in the technical documentation;

Does the 510C in XIQ support:

• 4x4: 4 UL MU-MIMO and DL MU-MIMO

• WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 - Enterprise with option CNSA, Personal (SAE), Enhanced Open (OWE)

• LACP

• 802.3bz

Thank

Hi @Tomasz

this is also described here, along with other things: https://www.extremenetworks.com/wifi6/what-is-80211ax/

“Downlink MU-MIMO will be available in Wi-Fi 6 radios. Support for uplink MU-MIMO is not supported in the first generation of Wi-Fi 6 radios.”

We would have to wait for AX Wave2. 🙂

Hi Stefan, Andre,

I was considering if it actually supports UL MU-MIMO as it’s an 11ax AP and UL MU-MIMO is part of 11ax. I wouldn’t promote that feature btw. 😉 But you are right on this, in the “Wi-Fi 6 for dummies” by Dave Coleman I could find a note that uplink MU-MIMO is not there on 1st gen 11ax APs, and there’s such sheet for final clarification, mind the ‘Capabilities’ row:

Hope that helps,

Tomasz

I guess it is only DL MU-MIMO, otherwise Extreme would promote it better that it supports UL MU-MIMO.

WPA, WPA2, WPA3 - yes

CNSA - no idea

Personal (SAE) - yes

Enhanced Open (OWE) - afaik yes

yes

It supports 2.5 mGig on one of the ethernet ports.
