Trying to determine if we can deploy some new L2-only X440-G2 units in stand-alone and stacked scenarios. A very simple network, using 5 VLANs, tagged inter-switch links, stacks. Can we on-board a factory-defaulted switch into XIQ and configure it with XIQ?

The next step is trying to determine which physical interface on an X440G2 switch is default configured with DHCP Client enabled: Mgmt port or a “regular” ethernet port (VLAN=Default)?

Is this documented somewhere?

X440-g2 stacks exactly fit our scenario. We will try tomorrow!

Thanks!

Hi @edward zubrickas ,

On-boarding a factory default box is currently what we are supporting when it comes to VOSS or EXOS. So you should be good to go.

XIQ does allow you to create new VLANs, enable tagging on a port and stacking is supported only for X440-G2 as of now.
