Trying to determine if we can deploy some new L2-only X440-G2 units in stand-alone and stacked scenarios. A very simple network, using 5 VLANs, tagged inter-switch links, stacks. Can we on-board a factory-defaulted switch into XIQ and configure it with XIQ?

Nope. If you claim that stacking of EXOS switches is supported in XIQ, then no cheating....how do I setup the stack via XIQ?

This seems more like an EXOS question rather than ExtremeCloudIQ. Maybe you want to take this to the EXOS community group to get this answered?

We have the X440-G2 switches on-boarded into XIQ by connecting the Mgmt ports to an external switch providing DHCP and internet access, and can make port-level VLAN assignments. Next, how do we create stacks using “native” ports (our case is X440-G2-48P-10GE4 switches, so it appears that rear ports 49 and 50 can be used to create the recommended ring topology using SFP+ DACs. How will Stack Master be determined, IP address for the stack?
