I’m in the process of setting up a guest access VLAN on my EXOS 5320 switch, and I could really use some advice. My main goals are:
Guest Access VLAN: I need to create a separate VLAN specifically for guest access.
Dynamic IP Assignment: Guest devices should be able to receive IP addresses from our DHCP server.
Isolation: I want to ensure that guest devices are isolated from the internal network but still have internet access.
Port Assignment: Specific switch ports should be assigned to this guest VLAN so guests can connect to it.
I’m hoping to ensure this setup is secure while maintaining good performance, especially considering isolation and access controls.
If anyone has experience with this type of configuration on EXOS, I’d greatly appreciate any advice, best practices, or example configurations to guide me through the process.
