We currently have an alarm setup which contains the following trap:
iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.extremenetworks.extremeAgent.extremeStackable.extremeStackableTraps.extremeStackTrapsPrefix.extremeStackMemberStatusChanged
1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.33.4.0.2
I believe this works if we lose a single switch while the stack remains online; however, today we had an entire B5 stack reboot due to power loss and when it came back up, one of the switches was in the "detached" state. The above trap did not trigger, i'm guessing because it booted in this state. Does anybody know if this trap is working as expected and if so, is there an alternate way to monitor the detached state? Thanks.
