Hello everyone,
I have the problem that I cannot administer / manage my K6 and K10 switch.
I have already tried various console cables. Unfortunately without success so far. It seems that all cables that are suitable for Cisco do not work.

Does anyone happen to know what kind of cable I need?

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it did not work. My procedure was as follows:

COM port -> rj45 straight through cable -> custom rj45 to db9 adapter (the one linked in the post) -> db9 to USB adapter (this one: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08B6C1XQN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)

 

Perhaps it is also due to the db9 to USB adapter. Is there anything I need to be aware of?

Or do you have another recommendation for me?
