SecureStack B5's enabling loop protect is disabling all AP and VoIP phone ports

I am going through best practices and have made my way to enabling loop protection on our B5's. The issue I am encountering is all ports connected to AP's or VoIP phones are disabled once lp is enabled. Is this normal behavior? We have AP's and Phone scattered across every switch we have. Will lp also disable the ports connected to old 8 port hubs?

Both devices have to support the LP protocol, if not you will see the issue you ran into.
