Hi Team,
i have four ERS 3600 Series switches. all are same OS Version. OS version is 6.1.0.0, Now i need to stack. i tried following way.
First i make 1st switch as a base unit. remaining three as non base.
using DAC 1m SFP+ cable connect the switch. like First switch port 52 to second switch port 51, then second switch port 52 to third switch port 51 after third switch port 52 to fourth switch port 51 and fourth switch port 52 to first switch port 51
Next Power on the all switches.
after i check the show stack health command through serial port from first switch(Base Unit)
. its output is Switch not in stack.
in switch front panel two LED only UP. thats power and Status. remaining 51,52 and Base LEDs are not UP. please refer the attached image.

Did you enable stacking on the SFP+ ports? By default, they are SFP+ ports and the mode needs to be changed to stacking.
On an ERS 3600, run “stacking-ports mode stacking”
On an ERS 3500, run “rear-ports mode stacking”
Save and reboot each switch after running the command.

You can connect up to eight ERS 3600 Series devices in a stack to provide uninterrupted connectivity for up to 224 to 416 ports. You can manage the stack as a single unit.
