BlackDiamond 8810 - bootprelay question

Hello,

is there a possibility to get the per vlan bootreplay function onto a blackdiamond 8810 (xos update maybe?)?
currently we can only create bootprelay with VRs, which seems to me that it applies to all existing (routed?) vlans what we dont want. what does the VRs stand for?
maybe there is a solution to only apply it to specific vlans with these VRs?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Erdan

A VR is a Virtual Router inside the physical 8800. The switch comes with two by default and the user can create others. The VR is used to create completely different and unique IP tables inside the switch.

In EXOS starting with 12.5 I believe you can have per VLAN bootprelay entries, meaning you can have VLANs utilize different DHCP servers for each VLAN.

Please let me know if this answers your question or if you need more clarification
