config ntp server on 15.1.2.12 670-48p-10g

Command Ref (http://extrcdn.extremenetworks.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/EXOSCommandRef_15.1_Version4.pdf) says "configure ntp [server | peer] add [ | ] {key
} {option [burst | initial-burst]}"

670-48p-10g does not recognize "sh ntp" or "config ntp"

Just want to point it to a local time server.

What am I missing?

sntp was doing fine, but now I need the x440g1 / exos 15.2.2.7 to become a time server after the ntp xmod install.

The remote peer or server is reachable only on vr-mgmt: ‘ping vr vr-mgmt 10.100.10.94’ works,

How to configure that time server and peers are on vr-mgmt?

Time will be asked from vr-default vlans.

show ntp association

Try sh sntp

NTP will also provide the time. I would recommend taking a look at both to see which one fits your criteria better. I know it seems like a simple concept but the way certain situations are handled is different.

For the switch to get the time from our time server, so sntp appears to be the correct answer. Didn't realize they were different (stuck on another vendor language this week, lol).
