Extended support for RPS-500p: Correction to Hardware Installation Guide

Extreme Networks testing has verified that the RPS-500p redundant power supply can be used with all X440, X440-G2, and X450-G2 switches. You can disregard the statement in the ExtremeSwitching and Summit Switches: Hardware Installation Guide (pages 71-72) that says the RPS-500p is compatible only with the X440-G2 PoE switches.

Further clarification: The RPS-500p can be used with all X440 switches, all X440-G2 switches EXCEPT the 12t and 48p models, and all X450-G2 non-PoE switches.

The information is now correct in the Hardware Installation Guide.
