Hello
I don't see any correspondence btw extreme ports and link interfaces on my server.
I have this design with 1 input port 100Gb , I have partition it :
configure ports 1 partition 4x25G
configure port 1 auto off speed 25000 duplex full
configure port 2 auto off speed 25000 duplex full
configure port 3 auto off speed 25000 duplex full
adfter saved configuration and reboot the switch I have the link state Active:
Port Configuration Monitor Fri Nov 8 16:17:53 2019
Port Virtual Port Link Auto Speed Duplex Flow Load Media
router State State Neg Cfg Actual Cfg Actual Cntrl Master Pri Red
================================================================================
1 VR-Default E A OFF 25000 25000 FULL FULL NONE Q28+SR4
2 VR-Default E A OFF 25000 25000 FULL FULL NONE Q28+SR4
3 VR-Default E A OFF 25000 25000 FULL FULL NONE Q28+SR4
I wanna map the port with the interface on the server,
but if I set down the link on the server the status doesn’t change.
In the other way, same behavior, disabling port on switch all the 3 links on the server don’t change the status :
ethtool ens1f0 | grep detect
Link detected: yes
ALBEEAsumit.6 # disable port 1
* ALBEEAsumit.7 # show ports 1-5 conf
Port Configuration Monitor Fri Nov 15 16:19:26 2019

2 VR-Default E A OFF 25000 25000 FULL FULL NONE Q28+SR4
3 VR-Default E A OFF 25000 25000 FULL FULL NONE Q28+SR4
There is any way to map this ? Am I doing something wrong?

I think, at 30.x versión you dont need to reboot the switch to aply de changes to the interfaces.

3pp, since first ordered from Extreme had wrong type connector (LC/UPC instead of LC/APC)
Ordered new above from local vendor

This should answer release question:
primary.cfg Created by ExtremeXOS version 22.6.1.4
and this should answer on cables I guess:
show ports 1 transceiver information detail
Port : 1
Media Type : Q28+SR4
Vendor Name : AVAGO
Part Number : AFBR-89CDDZ-EX1
show ports 25 transceiver information detail
Port : 25
Media Type : Q+PSM4
Vendor Name : INNOLIGHT
Part Number : TR-IQ13L-NEX

Are you using an Extreme break-out cable or a 3:rd party? We’ve had a minor problem corrected by engineering where the port status showed an incorrect value, but that was not in regards to a break-out cable, so might not be relevant. What release are you on?
