5720 series switches are not compatible with XN-ACPWR-2000W-FB Revision AA or AB power supplies and may cause operational issues.
Background
VSP 4900, 5520 and 5720 series switches support the XN-ACPWR-2000W-FB power supply.
XN-ACPWR-2000W-FB revision AA and AB power supplies are compatible in VSP 4900 and 5520 series switches.
XN-ACPWR-2000W-FB revision AA and AB power supplies are not compatible with 5720 series switches. Use revision AC or later power supplies in 5720 series switches.
Impact
5720 users may see I2C bus access issues and switch performance impact, particularly in systems with redundant PSUs if using XN-ACPWR-2000W-FB revision AA and AB in 5720 series switches.

Symptoms
Symptoms may include logs indicating power supply failures, temperature read failure, and fans running at high speed while at normal temperature. Fan power supply and temperature information will not be displayed in the CLI output.

XN-ACPWR-2000W-FB revision AC or later should be used in 5720 series switches.
