History of a switch freezing after a power outage

I manage the network for a company where this has become a recurring issue: after simple power outages, the switches frequently end up bricked, with the firmware locked and the kernel in panic.

At this point, it has become routine to recover them using summit.xos via USB.

I’d like to know if anyone else in the community has experienced similar problems with switches after power failures, or if this is a known issue.

Hi Agner, just wanted to ask which models you're using currently? I want to look to see if this is a known issue, and knowing which models to look in to would help.
