Just an addition:
You can enable/disable port-up-down SNMP trap using the following command:
[enable | disable] snmp traps port-up-down ports [all | ]
You can enable/disable port-up-down SNMP trap using the following command:

Hi Weda,
Have you tried the following command,
"show port info detail"
You can look for the setting in the output as below:
Link up/down SNMP trap filter setting: Enabled
Also, you can verify the configuration by filtering them using the following usage:
"show configuration detail | include port-up-down"
