In Network without VLAN we want to implement LOOP based links between switches using STPD, can anyone suggest easy solution?

We have 1 L3 switch and 3 L2 switch with OFC links. We want to implement a redundancy in network so that if there is any cable cut in between the other links should be connected. We tried STPD but it is not working. There is no VLAN, we have only Default Management VLAN1.

What is the topology of the network? (Ring, Mesh, Star)

Have you considered Link Aggregation, MLAG, or EAPS?
