Hi Experts ,

We are getting the below error in one of the attached DC power supply in the 8806 chassis

MSM-B: Output current conversion not available for PSU (Part name 2350 rev 5.0) for 48 V sensor in slot 3 due to Part name not recognized. Sensor detection 47.86V, 2.0A

MSM-B: Power usage data unknown for PSU (Part name 2350 rev 5.0 input 57.50 V) in slot 3 due to Input volt not in range

We tried with different slot also , but we are getting the same error. Hence kindly suggest

Hi Karthik,

Thanks for the quick reply .We tried with multiple power supplies and different slots in the switch , but still issue is there. Anyway we are checking WRT the power source for that power supply.

Hi Tamil,

As per the outputs i believe the PSU in the slot-3 is causing the error logs since it is the new one installed as per odometer age.

Do you not see any error message with the PSU-3 removed from the switch?

Can you try with a different PSU and see if the errors still occurs? or the PSU 3 in different switch and see it causes the same error message.

With these information i would suggest to open up a case with GTAC for the same.

you could add these additional outputs as well
"show version"
"show switch"
"show log"
"show log messages nvram"
