LRM MACSec module ports reversed?

We have a LRM MACSec module connected to a x695 switch. The cable for Host Port 1 goes to Port 47 on the switch and the cable for Host Port 2 goes to Port 48 on the switch (this has been visually verified). We then have a uplink cable connected to the top left port above Host Port 1 (Link1). However, the MACSec module shows a light on Link1 but the switch shows the connection on Port 48. If I move the uplink cable to the port above Host Port 2 (Link2), then I see a link on Port 47 of the switch. If we connect Host Port 1 to switch port 48 and Host Port 2 to switch port 47, then the link will show on port 47 (but it's confusing given this doesn't match the setup of another MACSec modules we have). Any idea what might be happening?

We have other LRM MACSec modules connected to other switches and whatever is connected to the Link1 port (above Host Port 1) shows a connection on Port 47 on the switch as expected and the same with the pairing of "Host Port 2/ Link2 / Port 48".

Strangely this is happening on two switches at two sites now.  We just upgraded the version of XOS to 31.7.3.37-patch1-31 but the issue persists.  A case has been opened with Extreme but they aren't sure what the issue is.
