If we are using the Summit 870 in the network: can we use it with only PTP transparent clocking ?

The X870 does not currently support PTP.

Hi Pascal,
PTP is supported on the Summit E4G-200, E4G-400, X770, X670-G2, and X460-G2. Note that if you are using the E4G-200 or X460-G2, there is a clock module that is required to be installed in the switch as well.
