setup vlans one for ip's for phones and the other for ip's for the computer

hello I am seeing a lot of different information about setting up vlans. i would like to setup vlans on extreme switch summit 250e 24port. I would like to have as much ports in the vlans as possible, is there an article or video that steps me through this?

Hi Neil,

I second Syed on his statement. From what you mentioned earlier it looks like you will want to add about half the ports to voice and data vlan. If you are looking for some more specific instructions on how to do something I would suggest exploring the following link:

There should even be an article on how to default the switch. Unfortunately none of the switches have a default button or button combination.

so sorry, disregard the switch is attached to the avaya ip office 500 that usb stick is not attached to the computer that has the ip office admin installed.

I'm confused here - what license are you worried about not being able to find?

yes, ok so once i get the s# and give it to avaya then can give me the key info and I can manually punch the license in the ip office?
