Hi Guys,

I tried to configure SNMpV2c on extreme black diamond ..and used the command # configure snmp add comunity readonly

< p>I would like to know if this is the right command for snmp v2c as when I tried to check my command in the show configuration it was showing something like:

< p>configure snmpv3 add comunity readonly user v1v2c-ro?????

Can you please let me know if this is right if not what would be the command to configure v2c as I was trying command configure snmp comunity readonly ...and it wasn't working.

Look forward to hearing from you soon

I think I deciphered your question correctly... Both commands will work. They are essentially the same command. The configure snmp add comunity readonly is an alias for the snmpv3 command. Verify with show config snmp.
