Hello. Please provide links to Firmware updates for extreme x440-g2-48 p-10ge 4 and extreme x670-48x-FB.
What are the possibilities of connecting via the Web interface to the x440 and x670 switches without using Flash Player

Hello,

Software downloads can generally be found on our portal:
https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000083342

Regarding flash player, EXOS has not used flash for the web GUI since early version 16. If you upgrade to the latest code for those 2 devices, you shouldn't need flash player.

Another helpful link, officially recommended version per device:

https://www.extremenetworks.com/support/compatibility-matrices/sw-release-extremexos-eos/

Very useful link matrix device versus firmware.

Now where can I find feature or big step forward difference between EXOS 30 an 31?

We are using 30.7.1.1 in production on x450-g2 now, would it be wise to upgrade to 30.7.2.1-patch1-20 or jump to

Hey Leo,

On that same page, if you click the software version, it'll take you to the release notes for that version so you can see any new features. This is also generally available here:

https://www.extremenetworks.com/support/documentation/extremexos-31-4/

Regarding your specific scenario: If you don't need any specific features on the 31.4 branch, you'll probably have more stability on the 30.7.2 branch as it is older and more tested.

I cant help with the firmware question.  But seriously, need Flash Player to connect to their switches? ugh.  I have two fiber channel Brocade switches, and have to use my 10+ year old laptop because of how old its flash player is, to connect to those two!!  I even grabbed a VHD of the laptop, so I have it as a Virtual Machine, just in case the laptop ever dies!  what is it with companies still using Flash Player... first it doesn't need it, unless its been coded using flash - in which case that's terrible - and haven't these companies heard of HTML5!?!
