Hello,
I’m playing around with my X440-G2 with 22.6.1.4 EXOS.
I’ve created couple of VLANs and been using it from time to time. Today I created two more and wanted to add ports to them and a strange message appeared. Ports were added successfully though:
pylon.12 # conf vlan 1112-1113 add port 5-7 tag
acl:getVlanIfFromServer:3013 - An undefined message 2002 here !!!!
acl:getVlanIfFromServer:3013 - An undefined message 2002 here !!!!
I’ve no ACLs deployed and when issuing ‘show access-list dynamic’ I just see “hclag_arp...” system dynamic ACL.
It worked so I’m happy anyway, but did anyone encounter this? Is this something I should be worried about?
Thanks,
Tomasz

Hi,
Oh, I missclicked Like, now I like the post and I’d like to post back the answer. 😄 Dunno how to do that.
I’m still interested in some fun facts about this message to be clear.
I also get this during bootup (around first ‘pending aaa’ message appearance):
acl:getVpifsOnVlanFromServer-2852 - ipmlRecv failed, ret: -111, peerId: 28.
Thanks,
Tomasz

I don’t think somebody here on the forum could answer this question, unless an extreme employee from the right department steps by. 😄 (It’s always the same: When some of the top posters has a question, it’s usually not an easy one. )
Best thing would be to raise a GTAC ticket.

Hi Peter,
Yes, I can upgrade, I’m just asking to know what is this message about and should I be bothered if a customer running 22.6 asks me the same, or should I tell him to just upgrade and forget about it. 🙂
Thanks,
Tomasz
