Surely these can't be right? both devices are version 16.1.4.2 patch 1-10

Hi Dave,
In the G2 switches, the output of 'show temp' changed from reporting ambient temperature to reporting the CPU temperature.
Because of this, you sometimes see large discrepancies in temperature between the G2 Summits and non-G2 Summits even if they are installed in the same location.

The G2s report CPU/chip temperature and not ambient temperature like your X480 does.
