Switch Model Number from Serial Number

Switch Model Number from Serial Number

I have an Extreme 24 port switch and do not have the complete model number. However, I do have the serial number. Looking to figure out what model this switch is based on the serial number. Any assistance would be great!

That is a X440-G2-24p-10GE4, which is a POE switch. The p (24p) tells us its POE. If it was 24t, it would be twisted pair (non-POE), and if it was 24x, it would be SFP ports.

Thank you,

Brad

I may be posting in the wrong area… Here is the model and serial number of the switch.

Model: X440-G2

Serial number: 1811N-43708

I know it is a 24 port switch. Trying to figure out if it is PoE or not. I am not on site, and won’t be able to be on site for a few weeks.

Its not possible to do using the serial number. Is there a model number? Either one, we can use to determine the actual model of the switch.

Thanks
Brad
