I am looking over our sys log configurations throughout our environment. Does anyone have a preferred template they use for sys log configurations?
Let me know if you have any suggestions. We have a pair of Extreme SiteEngines. I'd like to consider the following configurations:
- Use TCP/6514 Transport when sending logs remotely to SiteEngine.
- Include Notice messages in logs sent to SiteEngine - In order to grab OSPF neighbor changes.
- Should we segment this traffic into it's own subnet?
Is there any other suggestions anyone would have?
