We have two x690's and two x460's in our data center.
I am hesitant in creating a two tier mlag between different switch types with such different isc bandwidths. Should I not be? Seems weird to me having a "backplane" with different bandwidths.
The connection between the x690s would be 100gig and the rest of the tier 10gb.
So right now I have them in their own mlags and use eaps to connect the different mlags to prevent loops.
This works as intended but adds complexity where a two tier malg may be a more "elegant" design.
Any thoughts?
