I have this problem, sometime the Multicast table are full, and i must do reboot the switch to clean the table. Is there another way to don’t reboot? Maiby acl?

Or have you other ideas?

09:19:15 Kern.IPv4Mc: Unable to Del L3 1:25 from s,G,v=a640102,effffffa,10 IPMC 2, unit 1 Entry not found

09:12:42 Kern.IPv4Mc: Unable to Del L3 1:25 from s,G,v=a640102,effffffa,10 IPMC 2, unit 1 Entry not found

09:01:57 Kern.IPv4Mc: IPv4 multicast entry not added.  Hardware L3 Table full. (Logged at most once per hour.)

08:50:56 Kern.IPv4Mc: Unable to Del L3 1:20 from s,G,v=a640105,effffffa,10 IPMC 2, unit 0 Entry not found

Also:

Check if following CR's are applicable, the reboot is not a solution, it is a workaround and the issue will reappear after sometime again.

  • xos0060891 (While sending continuous join and leave as well as multicast streams multiple times allowing the streams to get aged out, the kernel error messages are seen for add/delete operation with reason "Entry not found")
    • Fixed in patches released July 2015
  • xos0057375 (Multicast cache entries for local mcast group (i.e. 224.0.0.x/24) go out of sync)
    • Fixed in 15.3.4,15.4.2.8-patch1-3 , 15.5.2,15.6.1 and higher

Thank you!
